Responsibilities:

To be the principal selling agent for Mohawk Industries covering Metro Chicago. To achieve the short and long term objectives established in the company’s Business Plan. Objectives will be achieved through the discovering of new customers and existing markets in the Metro Chicago territory.
Performs Sales Calls this includes but is not limited to: traveling to customers and potential customer’s facilities providing them with information and support; making sales presentations to prospective and present clients; calculating and quoting prices, taking orders and closing transactions; contacting prospects and explaining features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales and negotiation techniques; answering all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required.
Monitors territory performance against established objectives/guidelines and takes the appropriate action to improve performance Provides customer service to ensure resolution of issues within marketing policies; communicates customer requirements and request support from other departments as necessary; provides product specific customer feedback (i.e. product features, quality, functionality, competition, possible sales results, etc. to product line managers, management or customer service personnel as appropriate to assist in achieving company’s mission, vision and objectives Assists in establishing sales objectives for the territory in conjunction with the District Manager and ensures sales activities in the territory comply with established policies, procedures and practices, using good judgment and decision-making to ensure corporate ethical and professional standards of conduct are maintained in the absence of formalized guidelines. Stays abreast and informs management of industry, product, economic, and other territory changes that may impact sales and overall company business; provides timely reporting of activities in the field and special reporting to assist in the business and product planning. Assists in developing a territory coverage plan, which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals. Performs analysis on region opportunities and develops forecast for sales by customer and product and other s statistical reports as required on a timely basis; identifies additional activities, training or materials necessary to achieve specific product sales goals in key accounts and markets; responsible for identify and continuously improving activities that can affect customer perception. Provides recommendations for expense budgets; manages business expenses in accordance with corporate guidelines; ensures all assigned company owned equipment, vehicles, documents, materials, etc. are used, maintained and stored as required and in accordance with company policy. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred. 1-3 years of progressively responsible work related experience and any combination of education and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s diverse business and product lines. Knowledge of the terms, concepts and practices of the marketing and sales environment, to include basic accounting, product developments and manufacturing procedures, distribution, customer service, etc. Proficient using a PC, e-mail and other in-house database systems. Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts, at all organizational levels; ability to communicate with others in antagonistic situation using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards. Ability to work and communicate with diverse groups, ability to achieve results through team efforts, and ability to persuade, market, and sell new ideas. Ability to gather, assemble, correlate and analyze statistical and financial data to develop solutions Ability to travel

CLAIMS ANALYST II - Mohawk Industries - Dalton, GA

Responsibilities:
Monitors and adjusts claims from start to finish by verifying and updating information on submitted claims, reviewing the policy to determine which charges are eligible for reimbursement, negotiating payment to all parties, and following up to ensure that payments are made. Ensures effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support. Establishes and maintains positive business relationships both internally and externally to promote company goals. Provides point of contact for filing manufacturing and non-manufacturing related claims. Performs duties following documented guidelines and processing standards. Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures and/or written instructions to perform job duties.
Investigates all claims submitted by customers to determine if credit should be issued based upon nature of complaint, warranty, inspection report, lab results, input from dealer, etc. Handles all necessary paperwork associated with the claims process. Investigates chargebacks and disputed invoices resulting in an appropriate resolution. Interface with Sales to settle replacement claims, allowances, and returns due to non-manufacturing errors. Resolves pricing claims with Customer Services and Sales within the specific Guidelines of Mohawk’s pricing claims policy. Coordinates customers’ shipping requirements for delivery of replacement orders caused by internal errors. Researches and confirms all documentation and makes payments on approved Installations. Assists the Credit Department in resolving outstanding issues that may potentially prohibit the shipment of non-claims related orders. Prepares and maintains reports and records for processing. Analyzes and answers inquires regarding claim adjudication including method of payment. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalency plus a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible related work experience. Must include at least one-year experience as Claims Analyst I. Basic knowledge of After Sales functions related to the research and resolution of claims. Experience in the carpet/flooring industry a plus. Working knowledge of computers / AS400 system as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Accurate data entry skills. Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at many levels in the organization and external business contacts. Good voice quality that is both conversational and professional. Ability to project a positive image on behalf of the organization. Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, policies, guidelines, and processing standards. Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Ability to manage time effectively. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Other:

Normal office environment. Light physical effort is required. Majority of work is performed while sitting, but with occasional standing and walking. Work requires close visual effort.

Intern - Computer Science (VBA Coding) - Mohawk Industries - Calhoun, GA

This internship will be supporting the Corporate Finance department and is expected to last until the end of April 2015. The main responsibility of the intern will be to code various projects for this department.
