Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

To develop commercial insight into the business performance including review and improvements of systems and processes.
Responsible for all commercial finance reporting requirements.
Take ownership for developing and implementing an improved planning process for the business going forward.
Will take a pro-active attitude to lead and participate in the different projects.
Review the current planning process and tools available, and take responsibility for streamlining this process, including the potential use of an automated system approach to planning
Support the Managing Director in identifying opportunities for improvement based on the processes and tools in place in other European countries
Active involvement in, and owner of other finance related projects where applicable.

Requirements:

CIMA/ACCA qualified or final year level is required to undertake this complex role
Understanding of finance processes, with proven experience in identifying and executing efficiency improvements
A thorough understanding of Marketing dynamics and issues.
Evidence of commercial attitude is required, specifically related to experience in aligning projects to business objectives
Advanced Excel skills are required
Experience with SAP and BW is a plus
Solid experience in Management Accounting is a must
Exposure to financial accounting is an advantage.
The ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation is crucial, including the delivery of effective presentations to senior management
