The Kinross Kettle River-Buckhorn Operation is located in the State of Washington. The operation mines and processes ore from eight separate deposits in four local production centers. The Buckhorn mine continues to be a flagship operation for the company, having being highly awarded for leadership in low-impact mine development.

Position Summary and Responsibilities The Maintenance Tradesperson III will perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum performance and availability. All job duties must be performed in a safe and efficient manner. The individual will perform the essential duties listed below, as well as other assignments assigned to the maintenance crew.

Repair mobile equipment, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems 24 volt,
Perform major repairs on mobile equipment, transmissions, engines, hydraulics Drills ,
Operate heavy equipment and vehicles.
Document repair procedures, parts used or required hours required for repairs, readings taken on equipment, work order completion, preventative maintenance reports, purchase requisitions, and other documentation as required.
Perform oxy-acetylene cutting using proper and safe methods of welding operations.
Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment, and perform minor repairs and service equipment (oil, fuel, hydraulic levels) as required.
Perform fabrication as required.
Maintain shop area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Place parts on shelf when received from warehouse.
Assist others with repairs as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
In depth understanding of hydraulic drill repairs
Desired Skills and Qualifications Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience
Prior welding and cutting experience preferred.
Previous underground mobile maintenance experience or maintenance trade school attendance preferred.
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous mining experience desirable. Skills
Basic computer skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and understand equipment service, repair and parts manuals.

Position Summary and Responsibilities Perform structural welding repairs to mining equipment; repair cracked or broken metal objects, fill holes building up metal parts, pipe welding including stainless steel; knowledge of steel codes and classes of steel; effective use of acetylene, oxyacetylene and plasma ARC welding techniques; design and fabricate metal/machinery as needed; read/comprehend manuals and methods/procedures in mechanical drawing layout work.

Essential Functions

Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning and welding various metals
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded
Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape
Builds up worn or defective surfaces
Perform welding in the field, as needed
Desired Skills and Qualifications Three years welding experience on mining or construction heavy equipment preferred
Must have a good understanding of welding rod/wire
Welding certification, preferred
Possess a valid drivers’ license
Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis

Maintenance Planner

An experienced fluent Russian speaking Maintenance Planner is required by our client in Russia. This is a new maintenance planning position and the role will be demanding but exiting and challenging. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a Russian passport but this is not essential.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or higher
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken
• Fluent in Russian (especially in technical language)
• Preferably a Russian passport holder

Experience
Ideally at least 3 years experience in:
• Maintenance planning within an MRO or Airline environment
• Handling maintenance program of any type of aircraft
• Compiling maintenance work packages
• Ideally had experience in the business jet market

Competencies
• PC literate (Microsoft office)
• Sound decision maker under pressure
• Highly motivated and self disciplined
• Team player and able to integrate into a multi cultural working environment

The Maintenace Planner main resposibilites will be:
• Administration of the Work Order (WO) register
Review of the operator’s aircraft maintenance program before scheduled maintenance visits
• Establishing Work Order (WO) and issue work packages for aircraft and component maintenance
• Establishing work reports, log book entries and Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) statements
• Assisting the dedicated project coordinators to ensure congruency of the work documents with all work that has been accomplished
• Cross checking that the required documentation is properly completed and signed
• Administration of the respective aircraft records and consolidation of the completed work orders for invoicing.
