Role Purpose
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for delivering their assigned revenue quota and yield target through selling MSN & Windows Live (both referred to as MSN) online advertising solutions. AEs represent the company to the customer (partner) and retain overall account responsibility. AEs are the primary contact and engagement point between the client organization and MSN.
Experience / Education requirements
- BA or BSc Degree
- Min 2 years of experience in a vertical industry
- A minimum of 3 years solution sales or Account Management experience, preferably with a blue chip media or communications company or agency
- Experience in leading campaigns through the entire sales cycle
Responsibilities
- Establish, and drive effective account / territory plans to manage the business
- Track and measure the business value delivered by MSN & Windows Live solutions
- Deliver the agreed quarterly and annual revenue targets from assigned accounts within the defined market and / or territory
- Prospect to identify new sales opportunities as well as building on existing relationships to develop the account / customer base
- Leverage MSN marketing programs to strengthen prospect / customer relationships and generate new sales opportunities
- Drive increase in customer satisfaction and resolve any issues quickly and effectively
- Develop relationships with clients at executive levels to position MSN and generate new sales opportunities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of MSN Value Proposition Why online? Why MSN?
- In depth knowledge of on-line & advertising industry, including competition
- Sector expertise as appropriate to customer base
- Process, systems and policy knowledge as required
- Understand the key drivers of customer satisfaction, MSN solutions and services
- Skills on MS Office products
- Fluent in English, oral and written
