Budgeting & Reporting Manager
The Company
Our client, an absolute leader in gaming industry, is looking to hire a talented financial professional to take over the post of BUDGETING & REPORTING MANAGER. The Budgeting & Reporting Manager will strongly participate and take one of the leading roles in a massive and unique start-up in Russia.
The Role
The position of the Budgeting & Reporting Manager will report to the CFO and work closely with all corporate business leaders and stakeholders, as well as with foreign and local business partners and service providers.
He or she will act as a deputy CFO and will be required to work as part of an effective management team that formulates, develops and implements the international best practices to build up the state of the art finance organization.
The priorities for the Head of Controlling role include:
· Budgeting - as a main key role (60% of time);
· Treasury - Credit controls (overdue monitoring), Prize pay-out monitoring, bank's reporting (20% of time);
· IFRS reporting (20% of time).
More specifically:
· To fully develop budgeting function (basing on IFRS standards) at the Company;
· To be responsible for the preparation of annual budgets / strategic plans;
· Implementation of management accounting reporting;?
· To prepare regular performance updates of actual vs. budget;
· To prepare capital investment budget and track capital expenditures vs. approved;
· To be responsible for the Credit Control function, including implementation & management of Agents' authorization;
· Preparation of IFRS reporting (initially establish IFRS methodology).
· Jointly with Chief Accountant develop RAS-IFRS Charts of Accounts to be similar as much as possible (IFRS as a key reporting);
· Participation in ERP implementation (assessment - feasibility study)
· This position assumes 2-3 subordinates (financial analysts).
Candidate requirements
· Higher education with degree in accounting, finance or economics;
· ACCA / CPA or similar qualification would be a plus ;
· 5+ years of relevant hands on experience with an international organization in Russia;
· Solid management skills. Ability to set up clear tasks to subordinates and execution control;
· Excellent communication and presentation skills;
· Decision making ability;
· Reliable, accurate, clear and committed to produce top quality work with a high degree of work discipline and sense of responsibility;
· Honest with high level of ethical and professional standards;
· Russian native speaker with good level of English;
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Start-up experience would be considered as a strong advantage.
