International Applications Support Scientist – Eastern Europe and Russia (Can be UK based)
JOB TITLE:
JOB OBJECTIVES
? Demonstrating to customers the superior performance of the product portfolio in seminars and workshops
? Training and supporting sales channel partners to ensure proficiency and competency with the product portfolio.
? Work collaboratively with the international distributor sales and marketing team to increase customer satisfaction, boost market share, and increase competitive sales situation conversions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? A minimum of a Masters degree (PhD preferred) in a Biological Science field
? Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, work well under pressure with a diverse group of colleagues.
? Must have practical and scientific knowledge of the molecular biology research systems and devices, applications including upstream and downstream instrumentation and applications
? Must be a self-starter
? Must have excellent group presentation skills
? Candidate should work well in a fast-paced, high profile environment.
? Strong business acumen preferred
Must speak English and Russian Fluently
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide sales support through effective and convincing product demonstrations
a. Provide on-site product demonstrations as requested and justified by sales representatives for competitive sales support.
b. Provide technical seminars or provide technical back up in support of field sales when necessary.
c. Work with prospective customer or customer samples to provide proof of principle or initial experimentation to demonstrate functionality with the products.
d. Attend trade shows as necessary.
2. Provide all application and technical support for all products to potential and existing life science research customers.
a. Answer all customer and distributor technical inquiries through timely telephone and email support within 24 hours of receive the request.
b. Support new customers & distributors or new users of the instrumentation or reagent kits through phone/email or site. “Hand hold” new users to the point they are able to work independently and provide training or low level support to other users at the site.
c. Ensure that customers & distributors are using the products properly and are satisfied with the specified performances.
d. Follow up with distributors to ensure proper training has been performed and the customers are able to independently work with all products.
3. Conduct training programs to educate and train distributors and customers on the entire product line.
a. Continue with existing training programs on-site and in-house for customers and internal/field representatives.
