POSITION SUMMARY

Director of Digital Experiments leads and coordinates efforts to quantify and improve customer engagement, bookings, and revenue across Marriott digital touch points. The Director will be responsible for the development of Moxy Hotels, AC by Marriott Hotels, Residence Inn by Marriott Hotels and Courtyard by Marriott Hotels (referred as MARCH brands) in Russia.

The Director identifies and pursues new business opportunities and coordinates a multi-disciplinary team involved in the review, approval and finalization of contracts for new hotels for our MARCH brands.

Success in the position demands a driving focus on creation of shareholder value through the pursuit of new projects, a proactive disposition, a willingness to champion new business opportunities, an enthusiasm for working on a small, focused team and a passion for the work we do.

· Full Time position based at the Moscow Office

The addition of new hotels is one of the principal drivers of Marriott International’s earnings growth and an important element in progressing the product quality, operating excellence, distribution power and brand equity of Marriott’s Lodging System. The company’s unit growth strategy focuses primarily on acquisition of management contracts and licensing of our hotel brands to third party owner-operators under franchise agreements. The Director of Development performs a central, critical role in identifying, generating and structuring deals for MI’s MARCH brands and successfully closing on opportunities for new MARCH hotels, and building win-win relationships with new and existing hotel owners and franchisees.

Specific Duties

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
Maintain and develop a strong network of contacts in the local hotel and real estate investment sector. Identify, initiate, and assess potential owners, investors, developers and branding opportunities. Review and analyze potential hotel conversions and new build opportunities, for integration into any of Marriott’s MARCH brands. Develop the appropriate business relationship with potential owners, capital providers and partners, in order to build loyalty and preference for our company and brands. Coordinate all aspects of the development process internal to Marriott, including presentations, site inspections, market feasibility studies and projections, valuations, legal contract negotiations and presenting the opportunity for approval by the appropriate Marriott committees. Lead negotiations of management agreements and franchise or other agreements with owner/owner's representatives. Ensure that agreement terms and conditions are acceptable to Marriott senior management. Work with Marriott's Treasury and Project Finance Departments to maximize returns on Marriott International investment in hotel projects, where applicable. As needed, assist owners and developers identify and tap sources of financing for hotel acquisition or construction. Requirements

Experience:
Three to five years real estate development or hotel industry experience with at least two years of hotel development or related experience. Experience with Franchise deals preferable.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing). Excellent inter-personal skills and capability of both building lasting relationships and “selling” Marriott’s MARCH brands to third-parties. Demonstrated ability to effectively understand hotel transactions (both franchised and managed); handle multiple projects on short timetables; and manage staff resources efficiently. Enthusiastic, energetic, proactive outlook and approach to professional life is essential. An ability to work in a team environment with a small, but diverse team is critical. Mature, professional demeanor, capable of expressing confident, independent judgment.
Education or Certification
BS or equivalent MBA preferred but not essential Fluency in English and Russian language (written and spoken)

International Applications Support Scientist – Eastern Europe and Russia (Can be UK based)

Our instrument systems are based on our advanced core technologies which integrate expertise in engineering, molecular and cell biology and chemistry. We are known as a world leader for developing innovative, first-to-market products including instrumentation, software and reagent systems that help improve the quality of life around the world.

JOB TITLE:

JOB OBJECTIVES
? Demonstrating to customers the superior performance of the product portfolio in seminars and workshops
? Training and supporting sales channel partners to ensure proficiency and competency with the product portfolio.
? Work collaboratively with the international distributor sales and marketing team to increase customer satisfaction, boost market share, and increase competitive sales situation conversions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? A minimum of a Masters degree (PhD preferred) in a Biological Science field
? Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, work well under pressure with a diverse group of colleagues.
? Must have practical and scientific knowledge of the molecular biology research systems and devices, applications including upstream and downstream instrumentation and applications
? Must be a self-starter
? Must have excellent group presentation skills
? Candidate should work well in a fast-paced, high profile environment.
? Strong business acumen preferred
Must speak English and Russian Fluently

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide sales support through effective and convincing product demonstrations
a. Provide on-site product demonstrations as requested and justified by sales representatives for competitive sales support.
b. Provide technical seminars or provide technical back up in support of field sales when necessary.
c. Work with prospective customer or customer samples to provide proof of principle or initial experimentation to demonstrate functionality with the products.
d. Attend trade shows as necessary.
2. Provide all application and technical support for all products to potential and existing life science research customers.
a. Answer all customer and distributor technical inquiries through timely telephone and email support within 24 hours of receive the request.
b. Support new customers & distributors or new users of the instrumentation or reagent kits through phone/email or site. “Hand hold” new users to the point they are able to work independently and provide training or low level support to other users at the site.
c. Ensure that customers & distributors are using the products properly and are satisfied with the specified performances.
d. Follow up with distributors to ensure proper training has been performed and the customers are able to independently work with all products.
3. Conduct training programs to educate and train distributors and customers on the entire product line.
a. Continue with existing training programs on-site and in-house for customers and internal/field representatives.
