The Center of Excellence for Dynamics provides delivery support in the form of architectural assistance or project management for the top critical business solution implementations based on Dynamics CRM in the enterprise. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual who possesses a technical CRM background or strong project and business solutions experience. The CRM Architect applies advanced analysis skills and experience in the domain of customer relationship management to define appropriate customer solutions, to develop detailed solution architecture and estimates for customer implementations. The ideal candidate has a track record of technical excellence with the proven ability to map customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions. This person will have demonstrated the ability to engage in senior level technology discussions related to business agility, IT value, and CRM technologies.

To be credible he or she must have current and deep experience with implementing large CRM solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, or other large scale CRM systems (e.g. Siebel, SAP, Salesforce.com, …). Understanding of competitive technology enables the architect to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with existing customer solutions hosted on Microsoft or non-Microsoft platforms. Advanced domain knowledge in one or more vertical industry is also an asset.

The Center of Excellence Technical Architect helps account teams identify, pursue and close strategic business development opportunities while continually driving existing projects. Architects are key enablers for Microsoft Enterprise Services and Microsoft Partner teams - a key goal is to improve the readiness of local/regional teams and Partners who are engaged in critical pre-sales activities for large, complex and strategic projects on the new Dynamics CRM 2011 platform and the CRM Online cloud solution. As member of the Center of Excellence for Dynamics he or she routinely acts as subject matter expert, assisting customers, partners and Microsoft teams in the most critical and difficult implementations. Architects are able to deliver effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes and possess excellent communication skills. They maintain extensive product group relationships and drive technical readiness for CRM solutions with product certifications and specific ISV packaged solutions expertise as needed.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience. This role requires at least 7+ years relevant working experience including expertise in enterprise CRM implementations as well as application deployment and/or distributed system implementation. Knowledge of Dynamics CRM is an advantage but isn’t a must if compensated by broad industry experience and competitive application knowledge. Qualifications include hands-on experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide CRM implementation with focus on presales/business development as well as engagement delivery. Desirable technical experience includes hands-on expertise in several of the following Microsoft products or technologies: .NET, SQL Server, BizTalk, SharePoint, Office, Active Directory and application architecture.

To live close to a major city/airport is an advantage because frequent travel (up to 70%) is an integral part of this job, as well as high levels of recognition and visibility.

Project Coordinator, Gender Based Violence

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Scope of Work The International Rescue Committee (IRC) began implementing emergency response activities in Chechnya during the first 1994-1996 Chechen War and resumed operations after the start of the second Chechen War in December 1999. Since then, the IRC has been implementing programs in the sectors of education, public health, psychosocial rehabilitation, water and sanitation, shelter and community capacity building for war-affected families in Ingushetia, Dagestan, North Osetia and Chechnya.

Building on IRC’s current capacity building work with two strategic partners (a local NGO and a governmental center), this project aims to ensure that local NGOs and government service providers in Chechnya are able to respond effectively to the needs of women and girls at risk of and surviving gender-based violence, with particular attention to IDPs and returnees within the target population.

The Project Coordinator is key in leading project implementation, providing technical support and guidance to IRC’s staff and two local partners, and ensuring the delivery of quality programming. The Project Coordinator reports to the head of office for Chechnya.

Responsibilities Project Management • To provide strategic direction, leadership and overall technical and management assistance to the national program, • Ensure staff practice with clients adheres to best-practice principles when working with survivors and that all staff use participatory approaches to working with the community in addressing beliefs and practices that condone or perpetuate violence against women; • Conduct regular field visits to assess progress toward objectives, discuss issues and assist in finding solutions to challenges identified.
• Manage program funds as allocated in the awarded grants to ensure the attainment of all objectives within the authorized budgets. • Work with team to ensure GBV program is implemented in conformity with the IRC program frame work promoting and protecting rights, participation, capacity building, partnership, and holistic planning. • Liaise with the Technical Advisor on a regular basis to ensure that information from the field is accurately represented • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders in Chechnya– including community leaders, NGOs, government ministries/authorities, UN agencies, to enhance cooperation and coordination between organizations.
• Ensure that project resources, including financial, are used effectively and transparently in order to further the objectives of the project.
• Contribute to the development of proposals as necessary to ensure continued programming. Capacity Building • Finalize training materials and facilitate trainings for partners in case management and psychosocial support. • Provide ongoing mentoring and technical support to partners on their case management services, ensuring case management forms/tools/processes, supervision systems for case workers and procedures for handling case information follow best practices and standards. • Provide technical support to the stakeholder group to implement the GBV policy action plan. Project Monitoring and Evaluation • Ensure a safe and confidential mechanism for collecting information on project activities is implemented. • Design monitoring and evaluation tools including informant interview guides, focus groups and staff questionnaires. Design a pre- and post-training capacity assessment tool at the start of the project in order to measure improvement in local partners’ capacity to respond to GBV. • Ensure that all internal and external reporting requirements are met and that reports are of a high quality and submitted on time. • Assist Deputy Project Coordinator to monitor budget in accordance with IRC and donor procedures.

Requirements • 5 years program management experience in the field of gender-based violence in conflict-affected areas or related area of programming. • MA/S or equivalent in social work, social sciences, public health, community health, or related field. • Demonstrated experience with capacity building and training. • Good interpersonal and team building skills. • Ability to live and work under pressure in an unstable security environment with previous experience in CIS countries, preferably Northern Caucasus or Russian Federation preferred. • Strong negotiation skills essential with experience in conflict resolution desirable. • Experience of working with local stakeholders such as health clinics and NGOs. • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Russian is preferred.

Housing/Security Situation The position will be based in Grozny, Chechnya. The GBV Coordinator will receive a security briefing prior to arrival and promptly upon arrival in the country. The employee is required to abide by the IRC Northern Caucasus Security Protocol. The security level is yellow. This is an unaccompanied post. Candidates can expect to live in private housing.

The Alfa Fellowship Program is a high-level professional development exchange program placing up to 10 American and 5 British citizens per year in work assignments at leading organizations in Russia in the fields of business, economics, journalism, law, and public policy. Key goals of the Alfa Fellowship Program are expanding networks of American, British and Russian professionals, developing greater intercultural understanding, and advancing U.S./Russian and U.K./Russian relations.

The program includes language training, seminar programs, and extended professional experience. Fellows receive travel, free housing, monthly stipends, and insurance. Russian language proficiency is preferred though not required at the time of application.

Eligibility Requirements:

- U.S. or U.K. citizen between the ages of 25 and 35

- Graduate degree and professional experience in business, economics, journalism, mass communications, law, international relations, political science, government, or public policy; Candidates without a graduate degree must demonstrate extensive and equivalent professional experience in their field

- Outstanding professional achievement and academic qualifications

- Active involvement in community or public service

- Russian language experience is preferred, however not required, at the time of application. If an applicant does not speak Russian, he/she will need to be proficient in a second language to qualify for the program.

- Evidence of leadership potential

OIC advocates that foreign policymakers, negotiators and officials of multilateral organizations such as the UN and European Union utilize special ontology based consultants.

The consultants provide a breakthrough form of consulting and training that can make it possible for officials to access their own unexpressed and limitless potential to solve current and longstanding conflicts, to prevent conflicts and to gain the cooperation needed on all critical challenges. This includes but is not limited to various tragic humanitarian challenges.

This is a human effectiveness methodology to produce “out of the box” thinking and action. The term “outside the box” is used very loosely. You cannot get someone or yourself to think “outside the box” on demand because human beings are limited by early life conditioning. However, through ontology based transformational programs and consulting it is possible to do so on a frequent basis.

Conflicts, genocide, trafficking in weapons, people or drugs, the abuse of human rights, global warming, terrorism, piracy, WMD proliferation and other critical, man-made global threats and challenges are not being solved by those responsible in governments. They cannot be resolved in a definitive way because officials do not have the required level of conscious awareness to recognize critical turning point factors that will lead to concrete breakthrough solutions.

The bottom line is that we cannot solve major challenges without recognizing all the issues that keep the problems persisting. Human beings have varying levels of conscious awareness and communication capabilities. Unprecedented breakthrough results can be continually attained by the expansion of conscious awareness.

This advocacy project will make it possible to save millions of lives and increase regional and global security in all facets. The many problems we face today globally that appear to be extremely difficult to resolve to most, will become substantially easier to deal with.

Tasks

Our positions are multi-faceted. There are many interesting, challenging and important functions we ask volunteers or interns to do. Tasks are assigned based on organization needs which vary from time to time. They are also based on the skills and knowledge the intern/volunteer possesses.

1-Support our volunteer and member development activities. This involves researching, making calls and speaking to student and other groups concerned about foreign relations in general or various specific global concerns.

2-Pursue meetings with government officials as a first step in our advocacy outreach. [This task requires that the volunteer or intern lives in or close to the capital of the country they are in or in a city where a multi-lateral institution has its headquarters such as the UN in NY or the European Union in Brussels, etc. This task also requires strong people skills, assertiveness, tenacity and passion.]

3-Build relations with journalists for future coverage on our advocacy, to find those that may refer us to officials and to support our efforts towards inspiring public responsibility and activism for peace, security and cooperation.

4-Research as needed.

5-Support our newly developing fundraising efforts. One function is to support our efforts at finding companies to advertise on our new web-site which is being developed.

6-Develop social media outreach. This involves developing our Facebook page, our efforts on Twitter and all other forms of social media.

Qualifications are discussed in depth in our interviews. They include issues related to professional behavior, integrity, reliability, support, following directions, passion for global problem solving, compassion for the suffering of mankind, communication and a substantial knowledge of current and past international issues. How is role unique from other roles?

The role presents a special challenge in that the Solution Partners they manage, for the most part, account for little or no directly sold Microsoft license revenue.
