Aircraft Technician, St Petersburg

In November 2011, Emirates commenced a daily service from Saint Petersburg to Dubai.
The Position:
Based in Saint Petersburg, you will carry out Transit checks supporting the certifying Engineer along with non-routine defect rectification, cabin inspections, maintenance and repair on passenger and crew seats, galleys, toilets, aircraft cabin equipment, fixtures & fittings associated with the aircraft cabin interior, in accordance with the approved maintenance and company procedures and as per airworthiness/ regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining the In Flight Entertainment system to ensure optimum serviceability. This includes bite and physical testing, replacement of components and rectification of reported defects.
Experience and Qualifications:
You must have completed an apprenticeship or formal training on aircraft maintenance with 3 years Line/Base Maintenance experience on commercial aircraft, preferably on the A340-300 and A330-200 aircraft. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Engineer, the successful candidate will be required to have knowledge of and technical skills on aircraft systems, general servicing inspection techniques and safety practices. You will also be fluent in both written and spoken Russian and English.
