The successful candidate will work as a member of an international software team responsible for engineering contributions to media and imaging software products. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Working with team members to develop and optimize commercial production software libraries spanning imaging, pattern recognition, video analytics, computer vision and speech algorithms, for Intel 64, Intel Atom and Intel Programmable Graphics products.
- Defining and refining technical product requirements with internal product stakeholders
- Participation in research and development of our long term platform hardware and software architectures
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4 years of experience in one of imaging, pattern recognition, video analytics or speech algorithms; 2 years? experience in production software development; 1 year of experience optimizing software for performance or power consumption, and 1 year of experience with graphics or accelerator programming; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional qualifications are a plus:
- Strong skills in digital signal processing and image processing.
- Strong software programming skills including C/C++, assembly.
- Familiarity with modern graphics architectures and microarchitectures
- OpenCL(TM) optimization experience on imaging or video analytic algorithms.
- Knowledge of IA-32, Intel(r) 64 system hardware architecture and instructions.
- Ability to effectively work with an International team of engineers through planning, development, design, and delivering results.
