Partner Strategist - Maker Studios - Culver City, CA
Purpose of Partner Strategist is to lead and act as a conduit between partnered Life + Style creators and Maker commercial, content, technology and marketing teams. Responsibilities of the Partner Strategist includes but is not limited to: manage day to day communication with “pods” of creators, clustered around various content genres, developing and executing strategies for increasing the audience of partnered creators, and developing brand and commercial equity for creator partners in coordination with Maker business units. Position takes accountability for the organic audience creator growth targets, negotiation and execution of brand campaigns, building PR opportunities, partnership revenue generation goals, and creator satisfaction with company overall.
Responsibilities
Potential projects include developing plans for adoption of technology products by creators and their audience, brainstorming creative concepts for use by partnered creators, and researching new and innovative uses of platforms, technology and content. Partner Strategists can expect to also need to occasionally think outside of the exigencies of their genre or group of creators and develop, plan and execute horizontal content strategies with a variety of partner. Position requires agile, deep thinkers with experience or predisposition to data analysis, combined with creative capabilities. Excitement about the infinite possibilities in the burgeoning field of new media is mandatory. Other requirements include ability to navigate interpersonal talent relations and complicated social situations, self-motivation and strategic use of time, and effective communication with varying project participants. Ability to communicate complicate problems and propose solutions to partners experienced and inexperienced in the platform will help Partner Strategists greatly.
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Fashion & Beauty space
- Experience in New Media, Talent/Artist Relations, Public Relations and/or Marketing
- Experience with and knowledge of video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo,
- Social Media expertise, particularly with Twitter and Facebook
- Multilingual a plus, especially Spanish, Russia, Mandarin, and Portuguese
- 2-3 years experience required
- Experience with Branded Entertainment and Integrations a plus
Preferred Qualifications
-Training or certification in YouTube, New Media, Social Media audience, data or content strategy
-Media or content development experience
-Data analysis or statistical experience
