Senior Import & Export Specialist Job (Moscow, Russia)

Description

«Johnson & Johnson», Medical Devices and Diagnostics Department is looking for Senior Import & Export Specialist

Main responsibilities:

- Coordinates customs clearance of commercial and non - commercial shipments.
- Interacts with goods suppliers and forwaders in the context of shipment dates and shipping documents, ?ontrol and approval.
- Initiates and controls payment requests for customs clearance and terminal handling.
- Provides Customs Brokers with sets of shipping documents, control and approval.
- Organizes and controls transportation of cleared products to the company warehouse. Informs warehouse of expected arrivals and coordinates the optimal schedule for receipt with the warehouse.
- Suppots and consults Business Units and other departments on the terms of customs clearance
- Keeps and updates databases, provides reporting on services, transportation and customs performance
- Obtains import license and special permissions from goverment authorities
- Maintains department’s KPI Dashboard
- arranges special customs procedures (for ex. Repair abroad).

Qualifications

Experience Essential:

- Proven record of working with customs and distribution activities;
- Achieved results over a minimum 2 years period while working in logistics related areas;
- Competence of managing ambitious timelines;

Experience Desirable:

- Experience preferably with a multinational medical company;
- Good computer skills (MS-office) and preferably basic understanding of SAP;
- Understanding of local and foreign transportation regulations;
- Thorough knowledge of customs regulations and customs clearance requirements.
