Mid-Level Analyst - SENTEL Corporation - Tysons Corner, VA

The Mid-Level Analyst shall be responsible for the following: A.) Assisting in facilitating community sessions with the intention of improving IC focus and progress in the following areas: 1) Identifying and improving IC work on the top priority strategic issues of concern with respect to current and future military capabilities; 2) Improving communication with policymaking and war fighting consumers; 3) Fostering integration and collaboration among different elements of the IC. The community sessions shall consist of briefings and discussions by IC, policymaker and war-fighter participants. B.) Preparing a report that captures key findings and community judgments following each session together with all presentation aids and related material. An overall report connecting and summarizing all sessions is to be prepared and published on line and in hard copy following the final session.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support surges in work, such as staging multiple events simultaneously at different locations. Availability for meetings, consultations and any related tasking and deadlines. Ability to produce deliverables in formats as required by IC Customer staff leadership. Formats may include standard Microsoft documents (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint), electronic/soft copy matrices and/or web-enabled formats. Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to work effectively independently, in a team or collaborative environment. Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise work products. Ability to produce products requiring little or no editing. Ability to work with senior officials, to build and sustain professional networks in a diverse, fast -paced, multi-task environment, and to manage competing priorities. Be adaptable and flexible to perform a range of t asks and work with many different offices and organizations across the IC. Be proactive in developing innovative ideas and in communicating them effectively to Government sponsors. Strong grammar that requires little or no editing. Strong communication and organizational skills. Other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

At a minimum, the Mid-Level Analyst shall have the following education and experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related work experience, and 5 years of work experience related to the technical requirements. 1 year of experience working in the Intelligence Community. The following are DESIRED qualifications for this position: Residency in Russia with the acquisition of first-hand knowledge of Russian science and technology research practices. Proven successes in hardcopy and Internet-based research, information, and publication management. Demonstrated experience working with the Open Source Center and a familiarity with the operations of the Intelligence Community.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related work experience, and Demonstrated ability working work with all parts of the IC in order to shape analytic production and encourage sound tradecraft. Demonstrated knowledge of collection requirements and proven experience driving collection and identifying collection gaps. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple short-term and longer-term tasks and projects and perform staff functions as required. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply research capabilities and analytic, diagnostic, and qualitative techniques.

Certificate, Licenses, Registration, Clearance:

Active TS/SCI clearance

Computer Skills:

Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and presentation software (i.e. - Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
