C# Engineer - MetaCommunications - Iowa City, IA
We are an established company with a large customer base that is looking for a full-time C# developer to join our small, focused Application Server team. We are currently evolving our C# frameworks to support development of the next generation of applications for marketing & creative teams. We are using C# for building a scalable server-side foundation, and JavaScript for UI, server business logic and everything in between.
Position
We are looking for somebody who has a genuine interest in programming, web services and framework design, performance, scalability and security, and wants to join our Application Server group. If that combination piques your interest, we'd love to talk to you!

Use C# to advance our server-side JavaScript platform, implementing new features, product improvements, and customer-specific workflows.Participate in design and implementation of web services and APIs for new features.Have an opportunity to work with other languages and technologies we use (Python, JavaScript, SQL).Have an opportunity to take on technical leadership responsibilities in your areas of interest/expertise.Be able to take on as many engineering challenges as you would like to.Learn a lot.Have fun!Skills & Requirements
We'd like to see:
2+ years of programming experience.Basic knowledge and understanding of the software development process.High motivation, self-initiative, and a 'can do' attitude.Desire to work in an agile environment where everyone matters.Any of the following skills are a plus:

The Interview
There is another thing we are known for: our technical interviews. We give you a computer, a screen, a keyboard, and ask you to solve a programming problem in real time, using your favorite programming language.
