Business Analyst - Nitro - San Francisco, CA
The role is highly cross-functional and will require coordination with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams. You will work on a variety of projects such as new monetization initiatives within the revenue space and turning insights into real products with our Engineering and Product teams.
You will become an expert at extracting data from our proprietary systems and using it to make valuable insights on our strategic accounts, campaign performance and delivery trends, best practices, regular customer custom reporting requests and many other business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Superior analytical skills and comfortable with numbers Participate in cross functional team environments and handling a variety of concurrent projects and initiatives Understand key objectives and assesses actionable insights of data requests to support project goals Be the primary driver to productize advanced reports, build custom reporting requests, and department health tracking metrics Work with Product, Engineering , Sales, and Marketing teams to anticipate analytics needs and answer product and business questions Proactively collect, analyze and present key insights to drive decision making Use tools like SQL, Excel, and other internal tools to work efficiently to extract the necessary insights Export and manipulate data in Excel or alternative data manipulation applications Communicate insights and findings to product and business stakeholders to drive key business objectives including campaign performance, product adoption, and revenue growth Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience with Excel 1+ years’ experience using SQL/relational databases Ability to process and analyze complex data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions Ability to self-teach programming languages An aptitude to learn computer-based tools and platforms Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-motivated, inquisitive, and ambitious personality able to think outside the box BA/BS degree from a top university, preferably in a technical, quantitative, or analytical discipline.
