Position Summary and Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining all oil sampling, oil changes, filter changes and greasing of all equipment in the Ore Processing Department; document oil changes and lubrication routes, set up new lube routes and research new ways to conduct business; analyses oil sample results and report them to their supervisor; operate some small mobile equipment associated with Ore processing, while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross' values.
Desired Skills and Qualifications 1. Analyze mechanical and operations problems on Ore Processing lubricating equipment, make plans and takes actions.
2. Makes necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
3. Repair and maintain Ore Processing equipment through troubleshooting, diagnosing, modifying and repairing.
4. Gather technical information as well as appropriate supplies in order to perform job.
5. Performs preventative maintenance checks and inspections of lubricating equipment, reports findings to supervisor and performs appropriate cleanup.
6. Operate lube pumps, grease guns, small mobile equipment.
7. Perform pip/pump maintenance and repair.
8. Estimated travel based on current job requirements is 5%.
9. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Helps develop other department personnel to perform duties listed above
11. Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by state agency.
12. Perform other related functions as assigned by supervisor.
