Social Marketing Intern (Part-Time) - Ebates Shopping.com, Inc. - San Francisco, CA

Ebates Inc. is a meta-loyalty program that gives consumers Cash Back and great deals for starting their online shopping with us. Every month, millions of consumers start their shopping on Ebates. With over 1,700 stores like Amazon, Macys, Saks, Home Depot and more, we cover almost everything you can buy online. Ebates has grown in the past few years and has expanded to Canada, China, Korea and Russia.

Job Responsibilities:

Working directly with the Social Marketing Manager, you will play an integral role in all things social media. Usually no day is ever the same as new projects arise often. Trust us, you will never be bored!
Post and monitor feedback on our company’s social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Google+) Writing & Editing: Generate compelling editorial blog content for the site communities to engage with via our blog on Wordpress. Analytics: understanding what works and what doesn’t work is important, but understanding why is essential. You will pull reports, analyze data and assist with best practices and testing of various different medium. Administrative duties: from time to time, there will be administrative duties like invoicing, but don’t worry. Estimated administrative duties are 5% of the overall job. You won’t be getting anyone coffee or arranging anyone’s calendar.
Qualifications

Besides all the obvious skills like excellent oral and written communications skills, capable of working independently and ability to juggle multiple projects…the basics, we need someone with:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field Research savvy, proficient in internet navigation Strong writing skills: someone who is detail-oriented, can write in a fun and engaging style while maintaining proper grammar. Moderate knowledge in SEO
Preferred Skills
Graphic Design experience Experience working in Wordpress using HTML Previous ecommerce experience is a plus, but not a must.
