Cloud Operations Engineer - Kerio Technologies Inc - San Jose, CA
The Role We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic individual to become a key contributor to our Samepage Cloud Ops team. In this role you will work cross-functionally with Cloud Ops, Development, Technical Support, Sales and Product Management teams to ensure that Samepage keeps humming like a top.
Requirements 3 to 7 years of relevant experience Knowledge and experience administering Linux-based systems (Debian/Ubuntu), databases The ability to configure and troubleshoot network configurations Scripting skills (Python, shell scripts, etc.) Ability/availability to travel occasionally to our European offices for technical discussions Bonus points for:
Exposure to, and understanding of, security compliance and best practices under prevalent regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and/or SOX Being conversant in developers lingo Ability to describe cloud ops matters to sales people Responsibilities Improving our cloud infrastructure, working in a team with members across the globe, and cross-functionally with developers and others in our offices in the Czech Republic and elsewhere.
