Senior Structure Engineer
Role&Responsibilities:
Prepare structural design solution of schematic design and detailed design for the project.Have knowledge to evaluate that all structural drawings and specifications are fully compliant with local code, regulations and Russian practice.Manage structural design schedules with consultants.Periodically update structural design schedule with other disciplines.Regularly review and maintain structural consultant’s deliverables and progress checklistReview the structural designers’ plans, details and specifications for basic conformance with the quality standard of the Client, Samsung C&T, local codes, and other enforcing agency requirementWork with the Project Design Manager to coordinate structural discipline construction documents with other disciplineHave knowledge of CM agreement, prime contract and sub-contract agreementsWork with the Engineering Engineers and the Project Director to implementConstructability Review and Value Engineering considering overall project costsAssist in the pre-qualification of Works ContractorsWork with the structural consultants/Owner’s consultants to prepare technical answers to the RFIs requested by biddersWork with the Project Design Manager to assist in the evaluation of the bid package and Works ContractorsPrepare a periodic written report showing progress of the services in a form satisfactory of the Client.Assist in preparation of specifications and the development of design standardsCheck drawings, shop drawings, and vendor prints for completeness and clarityQualification:
University professional degree in Architectural design or engineering with more than 7 years experience in the corresponding field. Have a strong knowledge of various construction methods and materials. Have a strong knowledge of steel and concrete structural design. Must be familiar with the existing legislation of the Russian Federation, normative, technical base, and permit process. Proficient structural analysis programs, CAD skills and Microsoft office suite of programs are essential English oral & written communication skills are strongly required.Conditions:
