Digital Media Director

With about 440 printed and digital media products and over 10.000 employees, Hubert Burda Media is either striving for or already holding a leading market position in various markets. Burda considers itself an “enterprise for entrepreneurs” and is organized with a profit center structure. In Russia, Burda is a leading media player reaching 35 million people on a regular basis.
Currently we are seeking to recruit a Digital Media Director to increase our portfolio of digital assets in Russia.
Responsibilities:
Leading a team of media professionals;Formulating, driving and providing solutions that will encompass all forms of digital media;Overall PNL responsibility;Promote decision making on digital products KPI’s;Develop and implement business ideas from scratch;Deliver a best-in-class digital experience by improving the quality of digital assets in accordance with the Burda brand identity and the global digital strategy;Deliver daily/weekly/monthly reporting on results. Watch and share trends;Keep up to date on all digital trends and bring new ideas to the business on how to improve the Burda online presence;Coordinate and oversee digital activities;Establish, interpret and analyze critical digital KPI targets - and take appropriate action in order to meet targets.Professional experience:
5-8 year experience in digital media and development of digital assets;Project management expertise and experience in leading a team of developers in a fast environment;Experience in one or more relevant fields of consumer or media products;Capability in managing stakeholders in a sophisticated business environment;Ability to lead change management projects.Fluent English, written and spokenSoft skills:
Open minded towards other disciplines and companies in the field of product development;Excellent communicator and motivator, skilled in managing interpersonal processes;Continuously challenge the status quo, with a strong desire to improve organizational effectiveness, always looking for perfection;Fast learning and open to coach team members and stakeholders;Passion in driving fast business growth;High time management and organizational skills;Result-orientation, attention to the details, excellent people management skills.
