Director Global Partner Management Group IIG - EMC - Pleasanton, CA
The Head of the Global Partner Management Group (GPMG) will be responsible for building out the global strategic partner strategy for IIG. Specific requirements for this position include:
Demonstrable past Track Record in building and managing a Global Alliances and Channel Team with revenues of over $100Mio +. Thought Leader in areas of 2nd Platform (Applications, Servers, Database etc) and 3rd platform technologies (Cloud, Mobile, Social and Big Data). Experience building Global business leveraging Multi-Billion GSI -Global Systems Integrators (Deloitte, Accenture, CapGemini, IBM GBS, Indian BPO etc). Experience in managing a successful Channel business through RSI -Regional and LSI-Local Systems Integrators in Global markets – Central & South Eastern Europe, Middle-East, LATAM, Russia CIS, China, SEA etc. Track record in building Joint Business plans with GSI/RSI/LSI and driving them to execution across the globe. Identify joint business opportunities with partners and drive them to make key investments around, Solutions, People and Go-To-Market. Extensive experience and references in Channel Recruitment and Partner Enablement of non-Traditional Partners Globally (Telcos, Banks, Private Equity Groups etc). Demonstrable Track record managing some or all of Global Fast growth Markets – Brazil/Russia/China/India along with Central Europe, APJ, Latin America, Middle-East or North Africa. International Management Experience and successful exposure to managing SMBs in Global Markets across EMEA and/or APJ. Hands-on experience building and managing large Telcos for $15Mio +/Year each Revenue streams across Global Markets. Hands-on experience in building Mobile and Cloud plays around Managed Mobility, Mobile Apps, IAAS/PAAS/SAAS or Certified Hosted solution offerings. Experience in building Multi-Year $10M-$20M BPO and Pre-Buy deals with Telcos, Distributors, Banks, Solution Providers etc. Experience in defining , building and delivering innovative 2-Tier Go To Markets across Value added Distribution, Authorized Resellers , Master Resellers, Extended Business members etc. Success managing Multi-Year/Multi-Million System Integration projects for Global companies; Key Vertical knowledge from Value Engineering, Industry pain points, Solution offering perspective. Track record in building innovative service offerings with Telcos and Distributors and turning them to $15M-$20M/Year each predictable revenue streams. Smart and articulate leader with demonstrable ability to identify/build strong financial models and Industry offerings by working closely with contracts, legal, finance, marketing and solution teams. .
